Ben Rothwell Vs. Travis Browne Ufc On Fox 4

The big boys are headed to Los Angeles, CA for the UFC on Fox 4 card according to the UFC officials. Heavyweights, Ben Rothwell (32-8 MMA, 2-2 UFC) and Travis Browne (32-8 MMA, 2-2 UFC) will come face-to-face on Aug. 4 at the Staples Center (home of the Los Angeles Lakers) for the UFC’s fourth broadcast event with their Fox partners.

Expected headliners on the card are Hector Lombard vs. Brian Stann and Ryan Bader vs. Lyoto Machida. No official word if Rothwell – Browne would be a headliner, but is very likely as the UFC seems to have followed a formula of mixing divisions on their main cards with Fox.

Ben Rothwell has not been the most consistent heavyweight, as he has went 3-3 in his last six outings. Never-the-less, the former IFL fight veteran has stayed relevant as he was last seen taking out prospect, Brendan Schaub early in the first via KO at UFC 145 in Apr, earning him Knockout of the Night.

“Hapa” Browne, the likely odds favorite, has been almost perfect in his career. Only dropping a draw with the former kickboxing champ, Cheick Kongo. The 29-year-old Jackson MMA fighter loves to finish, as he’s only went to the judges score cards for 2 of his 14 fights. Browne was last seen at UFC 145, submitting Chad Griggs via arm triangle in the first to pick up the ‘Submission of the Night bonus.’
